Tanur
The tradition of maintaining "Langar" (providing free food to all) is as old as the existence of Sufis in the Islamic society. At Golra Sharif the "Langar Khana" is an extremely well organized institution, providing meals for more than one thousand persons daily. In the days of the Urs the Langer Khana provides food to a large number of people i.e. about fifty to one hundred thousand persons. The smoke from the "tanur" indicates that the daily activities of Langar Khana are about to begin.
